| Charts & Maps contains charts of fish and illustrated maps
of famous fly-fishing rivers and streams. The charts depict rare
trout, classic trout, female and male char and sport fish of the
saltwater flats. The artists of the charts are Ron Pittard and
Joseph Tomelleri. The work of Alan James Robinson and Glenn West,
two artists who are renowned for and specialize in illustrated
maps, are presented here. The maps include both western and eastern
waters famous for their fly-fishing. Western waters by Glenn West
include Madison River, Missouri Big Hole, Henry’s Fork,
Snake River, Gallatin River, Stillwater, Green River, Bighorn
River, South and North Platte Rivers, Gunnison River and San Juan
River. The east coast waters are all Giclées by Alan James
Robinson and include Barnegat Inlet, New Jersey; Block Island
Sound, CT, RI, NY; Western Long Island Sound; Fisher’s Island
Sound; Cape Cod Bay; Oxbow – Northampton, Massachusetts;
Rangeley Lakes Area, Maine; Harker’s Island, North Carolina;
Havana to Tampa, Florida and Key West, Florida. Robinson also
has maps of western fly-fishing spots: Yellowstone – ID,
MT, WY; Big Horn River, Montana; Bozeman, Montana; Snake River
– Jackson Hole, WY; Sacramento River, California; and favored
South American fly fishing territories: Crocodile Bay, Costa Rica;
Turneffe Flats, Belize. |
